A commission for custom 3d print models of Winter Schnee's transforming sword from the anime RWBY.

This was a challenge!

Get this; here is a sword that has a smaller sword inside of it! How nutty!

One of the least flashy weapons in the anime but a technical challenge to bring to life through 3d printing.

Because of the hollow nature of this weapon, it is quite fragile. I thickened the blades and put dowel holes in them to allow for the insertion of metal dowels(have to be pre-bent to fit inside).

The smaller sword is able to enter and leave the bigger sword through a rotating door in the hilt. Had to make a tradeoffs for the sake of structural integrity; the whole sword would of been too fragile if made as it shown in the anime.

Very proud of this one. I like making cool stuff from games and anime.
